Follow is a community for wellbeing and positive participation. These rules apply to profiles, videos, sound, comments, messages, experiences and challenges. These guidelines take effect on the same date as the Terms.
What we ask of everyone: be kind, include others and show up for what you join. The rules below explain where the limits are.
You must be 18 or older. Give your true date of birth and do not help others bypass registration. Report suspected underage accounts to support@follow.global. Do not publish someone's identity documents, birthdate or private details as evidence.
No bullying, harassment, hate speech, threats, stalking, sexual harassment, organized pile-ons or repeated unwanted contact. Do not use another account to contact someone who blocked you. Respect privacy: do not share another person's health information, private messages, contact details or precise location without appropriate permission. Ask before filming people, especially in private spaces. Do not post identifiable children, or where they live or go to school, without a parent's or guardian's consent.
Pornography, sexual solicitation, explicit sexual material and sexualized nudity are prohibited. Reviewers may allow limited nonsexual nudity for breastfeeding, breast-cancer recovery, breast-removal awareness or factual health education showing only what is needed. This does not permit sexual activity, graphic procedures or intimate images shared without permission.
Child sexual abuse material, sexualized images of minors, grooming and exploitation are prohibited, including synthetic or AI-generated material. An ordinary image containing a child is not automatically abuse; the breastfeeding exception never allows sexualized child imagery. Uncertain age, permission or safety cases are referred to the COO.
The COO is the responsible child-safety contact, through support@follow.global. Send an item/account identifier and short description—never download, screenshot, forward or attach suspected illegal imagery. Suspected abuse or exploitation receives urgent assessment without waiting for a report threshold. We restrict access where needed, limit evidence access and promptly report to the relevant authorities where required. Call 112 for immediate danger in the EU; Follow is not an emergency service.
Personal experiences and supportive recovery stories are welcome. Make clear when you are sharing experience rather than professional advice. Do not claim qualifications you do not have, promote dangerous cures or advise people to abandon necessary care.
Do not promote suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, extreme weight control or harmful competition. Supportive discussion must avoid graphic detail or instructions that facilitate harm. Do not organize dangerous dares, extreme fasting, dehydration, purging, hazardous restriction, overexertion, sleep deprivation, humiliation or illegal activities. If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, contact 113 Zelfmoordpreventie (call 113 or 0800-0113, or chat at 113.nl). In immediate danger, call 112.
Hosts and challenge creators must explain material risks and who an experience or challenge may not suit. Never claim that moderation is medical approval. Participation is voluntary; people may leave without pressure or shame. Do not require health disclosures or publish someone else's home address or live whereabouts.
Experiences take place offline, often with people you have not met before. Hosts describe each experience honestly: what you will do, where, how demanding it is and who it may not suit. Every experience shows its address, so only host at your home if you are comfortable sharing that address. Never add someone else's address without their permission.
Tell someone where you are going and leave whenever you feel unsafe. Report unsafe hosts or participants, and call 112 in an emergency.
Follow is for adults. If children are welcome at an experience, the host says so in the description, and anyone who brings a child is responsible for them.
Do not organize experiences built around heavy drinking or drug use.
If you charge for an experience, state the price and what is included in the description. Payments are between you and participants; Follow is not a party to them.
If you join, show up. If you cannot come, cancel in the app as early as possible so someone else can take your place.
No scams, spam, impersonation, fake engagement, phishing or fraud. Do not exploit health concerns to sell false solutions. No illegal drugs or weapons sales, gambling schemes, graphic violence, threats or promotion of harmful consumption. No terrorist or violent extremist content, including praise, recruitment or propaganda. No sale or promotion of prescription-only medicines. Ordinary incidental references and responsible recovery discussion are allowed.
Upload only content you have the right to use. You cannot add music in the app. If your video already contains music, you must own it or have permission to use it; another platform's music license does not apply here. Report suspected infringement with the relevant item, original work and explanation of your rights.
Disclose brand relationships, gifts or other material benefits affecting a recommendation, including ambassador interests. Do not use AI or deepfakes to deceive; label synthetic content that could reasonably be mistaken for real. Labeling does not make prohibited material acceptable.
Keep content relevant to Follow's wellbeing purpose. We may limit visibility, relabel or remove materially unrelated content and AI generated content. Respectful disagreement alone is not a reason for removal; we consider context, safety, privacy and honesty.
Report videos, challenges, experiences and comments in the app. To report a profile or a direct message, or if you cannot use the app, email support@follow.global. For illegal-content notices, identify the item/location, explain the suspected illegality and state that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Give your name and email where required. If you include an email address, we confirm receipt and tell you our decision and how to challenge it, including whether automated tools were used. You do not need to identify yourself when reporting suspected child sexual abuse material.
Blocking works both ways: neither person can start a chat or send new messages; existing chats stay as read-only history. Each person's videos, challenges and experiences are hidden from the other across feeds, profiles, search and links. Follows/requests and pending invitations are removed, and each leaves the other's experiences. Neither can follow, join or invite the other while blocked. Unblocking does not restore these connections automatically.
Do not organize false or mass reports. We limit disclosure of reporter information to what is necessary and lawful, but cannot promise absolute confidentiality.
Automated tools check the images in uploaded videos before they are published. Videos the tools flag are held for human review; the tools do not remove content on their own. Other content is reviewed mainly after reports, so please report anything that breaks these guidelines.
Every report is handled. Reported content may be hidden from others while it is under review, including automatically once a number of reports is reached; this is not a finding that the content breaks the rules. Specific illegal-content notices and urgent safety concerns are handled with priority.
Human reviewers decide whether to keep or remove content. We may warn, hide, remove or relabel content, cancel unsafe experiences or challenges, suspend accounts or ban them, taking account of severity, context and repetition. Routine review aims for 24 hours; urgent safety and legal matters receive prompt priority. We cannot guarantee that every harmful item is prevented or that a report leads to removal.
We explain restrictions where required, including the reason and use of automation. Contact appeals@follow.global for free human review. Banned members also have the in-app appeal route. The Terms explain the current deadline, deletion and correction limitations, and external complaint rights. If we got it wrong, we reverse the decision and restore content where possible; the Terms explain how.
